yes i posted question,s before about elvis but i do agree with some people the beatles were better writing music etc, and thee music very good but i hope except he was the first superstar in world music, the biggest fan club in the world, why is he called the king. and most important 2, billion saw him live ahoha from hawaii and the most live watched concert of all time

Elvis had charisma, a journalist who wasn't a fan at all saw him once live in New York and he said that his heart and his soul got an "erection" when he saw Elvis Presley live on stage !! I think this says much and there is a saying : You never heard Elvis, if you didn't see him.
Well, Elvis was at the right place in the right time ...plus Elvis didn't care about the Mafia who was ruling the complete Show business...he went his own way, but he had to pay ...
A big fun for me is to see and hear kids making jokes, without knowing anything about Elvis or music history, while they are listen to music that was influenced by Elvis Presley- their music style wouldn't even exist not even the Beatles......

For all his Las Vegas/Cheeseburger period, there was never really any one like Elvis. Prior to him and people were still buying 'how much is that doggie in the window' or something, then elvis comes on television singing 'do the clam' and it's like lightning hitting ice. A very definite icon of our times and yes handsome too.

He is the king, always will be. Has always been my favorite singer, always will be, and yes, very handsome, with a sensual smoky look to him which made him extremely sexy, not to mention his moves, and that quiver in his lip. ELVIS ALL THE WAY!
