There is tons to do in Oklahoma for families! I definitely, definitely reccomend the Omniplex museum. I'm sure your kids will love it if they love science, etc.

It's a friendly city with a high quality of living. It might appear to be a small town at first glance, but there's actually over a million people in the metro area. It's an easy place to live in.

- Bricktown-- a riverwalk (man-made) with shops and restaurants and a baseball stadium - http://www.bricktownokc.com/

- Omniplex-- a science museum. It has a lot of cool stuff, like a clear/see through playground and SO MANY neat hands-on things. I LOVE IT!!! The Red Earth Indian Center there has some cool Native American artifacts. You can even try your hand at basketweaving and the earthquake simulator.

- Fronteir City-- amusement park

- Oklahoma Hall of Fame is an interesting historical location

- Oklahoma Rodeo Opry

- Lazy E Arena in Guthrie (a bit of a drive away) has BMX, children's affairs, etc.

- State Fairgrounds often has craft fairs, horses, etc.

- Remington Park-- horses, race track.

- Lake Hefner (OKC) and Lake Arcadia (Edmond)-- both fun lakes with sailing (usually private boats, don't know that they have rentals) and places to play volleyball, etc.

- In June- Red Earth Festival (Native American history) -- http://www.okccvb.org/special/native_am.htm

- About an hour from OKC, in Anardarko, is Indian City USA is a reproduction of Native American life with tee-pees, etc.

- And, more for adults is the OKC Bombing Memorial- http://www.oklahomacitynationalmemorial.org/

Have fun!

In Enid, there is a really great place for little kids it is called Leonardo's Workshop, it was really cool. There is also a water park there in the summer. In Oklahoma City the Omniplex is good for little kids, also in OKC is Frontier City an amusement park open in the warmer months. There are a lot of great state parks if your little ones are into running around outside.
Tulsa is also good, neat Zoo and Aquarium.

Plenty to see in Oklahoma.

Just north of Altus there is an amusement park, Oklahoma City has a new inner city cannal that has boats. numerous campgrounds and horse riding stables, Roman Nose State Park is really popular north of Watonga, the right time of year ,like now, the corn field mazes are open and the kids love them.
