I would allow yourself about 3 hours, as the traffic on Friday evenings is usually very heavy.

Go to http://www.rac.co.uk - it will give you the best route for your conditions and an approximate time.
The time is always going to be approximate - if you did it at three AM it'll be much faster than 6 in the morning (understandably)....
