VIENNA (Reuters) - It took 25 firefighters, his wife and a son to roll Lulu the cow off Austrian farmer Leopold Zeilinger after she fell on him.
When Zeilinger discovered the 1,764-pound cow was too sick to stand up for milking, he used a winch to suspend her in the air. Part of the gear broke and Lulu toppled onto him, the daily Krone reported Wednesday.
Zeilinger suffered several broken bones and was airlifted to a hospital.
There was no word on Lulu's fate.
Why is this guy trying to milk a sick cow? The cow could have virus running in its system or have mad cow disease. The guy deserves to get crushed. They should put him in jail. Disgusting. I am going to switch to soymilk from now on.

The poor cow. I guess it's just Karma for the farmer though. Winch a sick cow into the air so why shouldn't it fall on you.

The cow could have had milk fever, which means if she didn't get milked she would have gotten worse. If you don't keep a cow milked every day and she doesn't have a calf to suckle they can get very sick if they aren't milked enough. Don't blame the poor farmer until you have all your facts. Another example of listening to the media and a one sided story....

I agree, its sick!! Greedy man! I have just switched to soymilk, get the sweetened one first, I tried to be good with unsweetened and it tastes rank, it curdles in coffee, not sure about any other drinks not tried yet, might ask that question on here! Why does soymilk curdle when put in a cup of coffee!!

I feel so bad for the cow, F U C K the guy, I'll slap the taste outta his mouth, he deserved worse than he got. I HATE people who mistreat animals, it makes me want to puke on that guy face.
