advice plz?

someone help, i have to write a rap poem and i donno what to write it about?? i need something interesting and a need like a first line that i could use?? lol i'm hopeless lol

* Simple story
Take a story that you like, and simplify the action to short words that you can make rhyme. I heard Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" told in rap, and it was hilarious!

* Love

* Pick a beat or rhythm to write to
If you need help with rhythm, pick your favorite song or drum beat pattern, and set the words to that as the basic framework.

I rewrote the Bill of Rights to fit the DNC mix of Suzanne Vega's Tom's Diner, and have performed it as poetry. The beat helped me to organize the ten amendments so I could squeeze them all in. (see lyrics at http://www.houstonprogressive.org/isocracy.html)

I am not the only one who did something similar. So many other people set their own original words to Tom's Diner and sent them to Suzanne Vega that she released a special CD of these parodies and spin-offs.
