My personal experience only: I've sucked up a thin piece of food wrapping that blocked the suction, I've had a broken belt, or a full vacuum bag. You might also try logging on to the site of the manufacturer and see if they have a help menu.

It could be that your bag is full, try changing the bag it could help. Happy Vacuuming!

I have had this problem...I took it to the shop and the man cleaned it out and changed the belt...now works fine. Even if your belt is not broken, it could be stretched and this will affect suction power...

your hoses might be clogged? what type do you have? have you changed the bags? turned the thing upside down and cleaned out any and all debris you find. This usually helps me .

bag is full or hose is stopped up, if mooer is running and still does;t pick up.

bag is blogged, string caught in the bottom , unplug it & flip the thing upside take a look

Bag or dust collector full....Hoses clogged....could be several things.

if the motor is running i think that your hose is blocked.
