If it was work related then buy her nothing, it's her job to keep her staff in check! If she's a friend & it wasn't work related & also your fault buy her some chocolates.

I suggest not buying your manager anything. They would probably think you were just kissing their ***. Maybe you should just let it be as it was and move on like adults do instead of trying to sugar it up by buying her gifts too. And, if you were to buy her a gift maybe it would make her feel worst that she may have to buy you something in return..Not needed..Just be an adult and move on. If anything you could say you were sorry you had a really bad day and that you've been feeling bad about it. Don't butter her up though with gifts. Nuff said.

I wouldn't suggest buying her a gift as this seems a bit personal and she is your boss. why don't you go out and buy a box of cakes or chocolates for your team (this depends on how many there are) and offer them around including to your boss giving her a smile as you do. She will see that you hold no grudges.
Hopefully she wont be on a diet!

Do not buy her a gift, confrontations are part of life in any workplace, It is a sign of a good manager to have a row and then carry on as normal. She is only doing her job

I wouldnt get her a gift. She is your boss, not your friend. Its not professional and can give the wrong impression. It sounds like you want to tell her she needs to wear some make up. I would be careful with that one. Unless you want a new job. Good luck with that.

I would suggest one of those lovely baskets, a small sized one..with little snacks and trinkets for her office space.

Don't do something too extravagent or you just may send the wrong message....but something small and polite so she knows that you are remorseful the confrontation you both had.

what happened? depending on what you did lies the answer, but by the way your boss is acting she is saying that it's over and forgotten, do yourself a favor and stop feeling guilty

I suggest not trying to suck up. It will definately show weakness. then she will know that you have no back bone and that she can push you around. As a manager it is her job to treat you with respect..

I think you should offer to take her out for lunch. When you next see her , apologise , smile , be nice , give her the offer of lunch . If she does accept your offer , go out have lunch and have a laugh with with her. You never know you may find a new best friend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
