Is there any such thing as oil pastel pencils,(not chalk pastels 'cause I know those do exist)-if there is does anyone know whee I can buy them wether in a store or online, If anyone knows a website for it.

Most coloured pencils (Prismacolor etc) are vaguely oil-based... though the main ingredient is a waxy substance, not linseed oil as in oil pastel sticks. The more expensive ones (Lyra Polycolor, Stabilo Softcolor) have a higher pigment-to-wax ratio, and one made by Walnut Hollow is supposed to be the softest, actually called an "Oil Pencil". I see Dick Blick sells these -

Just don't expect it to behave like an oil pastel - it's nowhere near as soft.

In over 45 years of buying art supplies, I've never seen such a thing. I think because of the soft nature of the oil pastel, they would be almost impossible to sharpen with anything but a knife. You use oil pastels for their blending ability which also makes them less likely for pencilhood.

I do not think they have them in pencils, but china markers are similar in texture.
