Why would it matter? I mean, the straight people aren't going to do any good by becoming involved sexually with a person of the same sex, besides possibly relieving some sexual frustration, and in that case, why not just masturbate? Why "turn" gay? This question should be for homosexual people only, because they would be the only ones who would be doing good with their sexual orientation reversals in a time of crisis.

Well first of all you can't "turn" gay. It's just who you are, not what you choose.
But would I accept sexual gratification from a member of the same sex? Maybe. Probably not. But maybe.
