Okay so I'm pregnant, right? Can I get pregnant again if I continue having sex? Like have twins? My boyfriend thinks it's like possible and I think it could be but I'm sure it's not. Should we be having sex still? Is it safe to have sex when you are pregnant?

Hi!
1. It is possible to have twins conceived a few days apart. It is very rare but can occur if a woman produces two eggs on the same cycle but a few days apart. I learned about this when a friend of mine said that's why her doctor thinks there was such a size difference between her fraternal twins at the 6 week ultrasound.
2. If you already know you are pregnant then it is too late for you to produce another egg/have a second fertilization occur/have twins. This is because the same hormone that gives you a positive home pregnancy test tells your body to stop producing eggs/stop having a period/etc.
3. It is safe to have sex when you are pregnant. Most women can continue to have sex into the 3rd trimester. However, there are risk factors that can make sex problematic. Talk to your doctor just in case.

You can have sex when you are pregnant. You can not get pregnant again until the babies are born. Once that happens you can get pregnant. Up to your seventh month you can have sex if you are willing. It will not harm the baby unless you are having trouble through out your term.
Special care should be given on different positions as it is not a good idea to have sex in the missionary position. So alternatives should be used.

I don't think you could get a twin if you keep having sex, but you can still have sex while pregnants its very safe and healthy.

The only time it is possible to get pregnant again once you are already pregnant is if you have sex and the sperm swims to the egg within 3-5 seconds after the first initial "release" other wise most likely not going to happen....it is very safe to have sex while pregnant, unless your doctor suggests other wise!! I think that is your boyfriends excuse to get more nookie LOL!!!!

Not possible unless you are on a current episode of Grey's Anatomy. If you are serious about this, I fear what you don't know about parenting. If you are this ignorant you should not be having sex period! Please enroll yourself and your boyfriend in some parenting classes so you can be as as educated as possible when your baby get here. And technically they wouldn't be twins anyways. And the only way fraternal twins can have two different fathers if you are having sex with two different people within a 24 hour period, and I believe there is only two documented cases in the United States history.

No, you cannot get pregnant again. Once you get pregnant, you've stopped ovulating. It is possible for you to be pregnant with twins already. You can have sex until the minute your water breaks, unless your ob/gyn tells you not to.

once you get pregnant you cant get pregnant a second time until after you have the first baby. lol. im sorry to laugh but its funny how uneducated ppl are when it comes to this yet everyone wants to go out and have sex. once you get pregnant you have a mucous plug stopping any and everything from getting to your baby. so no you wont be getting pregnant again. um...unless you have a lot of twins in your family, you might be pregnant with twins already ;)...or so they say. so you can have all the sex you want...if you were going to the doctor they'd tell you that. you can continue...unless there are some complications.

No you cannot get pregnant again if you are already pregnant. Sex is safe as long as you are careful, it doesn't cause any pain and your doctor doesn't tell you not to.

you could still have good sex even if you are pregnant,if the doctor say no well is no go by that. twins again no

no you cannot get pregnant again. thats the great thing about pregnancy,lol. but in cases of fraternal twins they can have 2 different fathers (one have one father and the other another). its strange but true. but im guessing your not doing more then 1 person , so you dont have to worry about this.
