I like it, it seems classic. However, I think people are right about the whole "stutter" thing. Maybe use it as a middle name.

too close to Sutter Home, which is a brand of wine. you don't want people making the mistake thinking you named him after a drunken night.

I like it. I've heard that name once and I don't think it's used alot. So when you call your child's name in 100 kids he'll be the only one to answer!!!!

Too close to Stutter or Stuterer. Kids will tear him apart later in life... Sorry to burst your bubble.

I don't know if this bothers you, but that is normally a last name. As is Sutton. If it doesn't bother you go for it!
