Yes, it is absolutely possible. He should have a check-up with a physician. It could signal that other things in his body are being affected by the stress as well. If he refuses that... then you have a right to be suspicious. God bless.

Yes, stress can do it. Have him talk with his doctor and see what he says. Not to scare you but have him get his heart checked out too.
