I am in the 2 week wait to see if i am preg and am 6 DPO. I had a hot bath tonight and am now worried that it would effect my chances ?
I doubt i am preg but just wondering ?

I have been through 3 IVF treatments and not once have I been warned against having hot baths, for your peice of mind though I would say that as long as it wasn't a scalding hot bath you should be fine.
The 2ww is hard enough to get through without all these things going through your head, try not to worry too much as stress can affect conception, relax, take it easy and stay positive.

I don't think that it would affect your chances of getting pregnant. When you are already pregnant, they say it is dangerous to the fetus to take a hot bath. However, I believe this is an old fashioned warning that seems to have changed over the last few years. At any rate, it was never said that it could affect your chances of conceiving. The sperm and egg have obstacles much worse than a hot bath to overcome! Good luck!

I thought the same when I was trying to get pregnant. I would advise you take warm baths in the future but for now just relax. God bless.

The only time hot baths can cause infertility problems is when you take them frequently and for long periods of time. One hot bath will not affect whether you are pregnant or not and it won't affect your ability to get pregnant either. Good luck and God bless :-)

no if you are pregnant it wont hurt the baby. But if you are pregnant make sure in the future you just take warm baths!

No it wont make a differece unlike the male whoose sperm are temperature related and that is why they are in the scrotum(sac) outside the body

No i doubt it, people do all number of things and they dont even realise they are pregnant (smoke, drink etc) and they are ok. Dont panick, im sure the female body is stronger than you think.xx
