Serenity means to ultimately become calm and unruffled. You can equate your life to the clear blue skies. Quiet, no negative energies flowing, and positive energy is kept on a calm level. The monks are always in search of knowledge and truth and in thier quest, they have serenity. Yoga masters have serenity. True meditation can give you serenity. Peace, I believe, goes hand in hand with serenity.
