as each chicken lays one egg every 1.5 days ie 2 eggs every 3 days and so 6 eggs every nine days

Thus 9 chickens will lay 9 x 6 eggs in 9 days

1.5 chickens laying 1.5 eggs in 1.5 days is the same as 1 chicken laying 1 egg in 1 day, so at that same ratio, 9 chickens would each lay an egg a day meaning 81 total eggs.

1½ chickens, 1½ eggs, 1½ days is the same as 1 chicken laying 1 egg in 1 day. The ratio is 1:1:1.

So, 9 chickens will lay 9 eggs in 9 days (keeping the ratio 1:1:1).

you get 1.5eggs per 1.5^2 chicken days. or 2/3 egg/chicken day
9 chickens*9 days=81chicken days
81chicken days*2/3 eggs/chicken day=54 eggs
