-19 ..... TRUST ME

This is how i was taught!

Solve Brackets first!
= -22

Then u add 3 to -22 and cos 3 is positive it should bring the number up .... Like if you owed someone $22 dollars and u pay off 3 dollars .... u now only owe them $19 = -19!

Hope this aint confusing!
