Nothing has ever compared with Christmas for me. I guess it is just all the old memories of Home. I grew up in Illinois so normally we have a white Christmas and it is always so beautiful. I also have a larger extended family and Christmas is the only time of year we all make it back home. There is nothing quite the same as gathering everyone into Mama and Papa's house like we have done since we were all just kids. Now we all have families of our own and Papa has passed on. There is still nothing quite as sweet as all of us crowding the living room and watching the kids pass presents. I still walk in and see it just like it was when I was 5, Papa was still there, and life was as simple and beautiful as the fresh Christmas snow.

When I really think about it, all holidays are based on lies anyways and really have no merit value. Of course, if I had to pick one, it would be Halloween, which is not even a holiday.
Christmas would be the worst, being that all those so called merry holiday shoppers jam the stores and are at their most rudest.

my fovorite holiday would have to be my birthday; no wait just kiddin.
it would have to be holloween because its the one time of the year where you can be anything u want to be. its the holiday that dreams come true and u didnt even know it
