fact: many Americans like to ask stupid questions that have no apparent point or are too vague for any person to answer accurately.

Fact: Bush is President.
Fact: We are not taxed as much as England but our Health insurance is highway robbery.
Fact: American women are H O T.
Fact: Americans are not half as stupid as the Europeans accuse us of, but we are on average slightly more stupid than the Chinese.
Fact: Americans like meat and we are in fact overweight on average.
Fact: We drink alcohol just about as much as you do in the UK.

Since you didn't specify what kinds of facts, I'll simply say ditto to the post by jane l.
I would add to that list: The U.S. only pretends to be a constitutional republic.
