Some folders in Windows are what they call wright protected. First of all, you can try left click hold and then drag the file to the trash can. If that does not work, I supplied a link to a small free program that will allow you to unlock the file and delete it. with the program, all you have to do is right click, click on the magic wand tell it to unlock then delete the file.

Try right-clicking it and click delete, or press Delete on your keyboard (the set of keys above your arrow keys). If it doesn't work, it could be a program using the folder even though it may be empty. Try running your computer in SafeMode to delete it.

To run your computer in SafeMode, start turn on your computer and keep pressing F8 until you come up to a menu which gives you the option to start your computer normally, safe mode, and other modes.

you can press shift+del to delete without recycle bin, right click the folder and press delete, press ctrl+alt+del and under processes end explorer.exe, then still in task manager click file > run > *type explorer and click run* then try to delete it, if it doesn't work do this: click start>run>*type cmd* in cmd type rd /s C:\myfold~1\folder1
something like this.. myfold~1 is the first 6 char of "My Folders" with a ~1 for short.. u cant put spaces in cmd. this is only an example.. you'll have to change it to something like rd /s C:\docume~1\*username here*\mypict~1 that would delete the folder my pictures in my documents.. rd stands for remove directory(folder) and /s forces the delete.

pull it out of the original folder and you will. Note if you can not delete it it may be used or needed for something else if it wont let you take it back to its original file or folder good luck.
