Have you read the bible? People like to use it as a way of demonizing abortion. There are passages that can be used to say it's OK. Like the one about the guy that kills a pregnant woman, his sin was killing the woman, not the fetus.
I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just saying you can take a verse out of context and use it to fit whatever propaganda you want.
The real problem is that many so called "Christians" don't read their bibles. Knowledge is power kids, if you're going to claim to be apart of something, or believe something, then read.
Read this: http://www.elroy.net/ehr/abortion.html...
And don't use the rape thing to justify. Rape victims who get pregnant is a very, very, very small percentage. It almost never happens. Even if so, then how do you justify it's only right to kill a rape baby? Educate yourselves.

I'm an adult. I pay my bills. I am accountable for my actions. I work for a living. Who on here knows better what is good or bad for me than I do? Do I need religious zealots or government officials making my moral choices for me? The people who say they are Christians are the least tolerant. They would sooner beat you to death with their bible than let you have the right to choice. It's only the pro-life people who try to put their morals onto everyone else. Pro-choice people believe every person's business is their own. I may not like the choice you make, but I'm sure as heck not going to try to pass a law to stop you from making it. How about this, let my God judge me and you keep your morals out of my life. Pro-choice in America.

Sometimes I get the feeling that the only reason people ask these questions is to get an idea for their own argument, one way or the other. These are things that you either believe in or don't, have faith in your own convictions and do what is right for you.
Personally, I believe that the woman has the choice, but that choice should still involve the other party. On top of that, there should be some type of mitigating circumstance regarding the foetus, and health of the woman carrying it.
Protect yourself people, having children is a privilege, not a right, think twice before you consent to having non-protected sex. Ensure that you are both safe from both unwanted pregnancies and those nasty diseases that are out there. They do go hand in hand.

Pro-choice, anti-abortion...
And Bitter-sweet, I MUST disagree with you. The question here is historically the same question which was at the root of the slavery debate. You might be interested in looking it up. The question is concerning the basic definition of a human life...
I'm pro-choice. I believe a woman makes the choice to jump into the sack with a man. Both of the two make the CHOICE not to use protection. They make the CHOICE to not consider their life situations before conceiving a child. In cases of rape or nonconsentual incest (there IS some consentual incest out there, sick as it is), there is STILL a choice made. And the woman STILL has the choice of whether to murder the child for her wrongdoings and/or the wrongdoings of the father, to give the child up to those who will love and raise it as their own (and often, leaving open the possibility of reuniting with the child in the future), OR raising the child herself...
I'm NOT pro-abortion. I DO NOT believe in murdering the innocent for the wrongdoings of the parent/s.

This is never an easy question. Most of my life I've been pro-choice, because I believe everyone should have the right to choose to bring a life into this world. I've moved a little away from that, now that I have a son, although I am still somewhat pro-choice. Abortion is murder, no question in my mind, because I've heard a baby's heart beat not more than a few weeks into pregnancy, and it is real. However, if people choose to murder the baby, then that is their choice, they will have to carry that burden.
Ulitimately, people should be making the choice before they get pregnant. We allow people to be completely irresponsible.

Pro-life, because that's why I'm here.
How can anyone think of unborn fetuses like they are unturned cards in a poker game, i.e. some having great value and some having no value?
No semantics or rationalizing needed here, everyone knows deep down that taking another human life out of greed or selfishness is wrong, whether they admit it or not.

Pro-Choice
I don't believe that being pro-choice makes anyone pro-abortion. No one likes it but I believe it's something that a pregnant woman has to decide on here own... especially why should we men have any say at all?

Pro-choice. Abortion is never going to stop and I think that the woman is the first priority over a 1/4 inch embryo. Nobody is anti-abortion, there are many who think abortion is okay when it comes from rape and some who think is okay to save the woman's life. Everybody supports abortion to some degree.
