There are things that your doctor can prescribe for you.
Try some tea or something. It's best to get some kind of solid in you, like crackers, or toast or something. I know it can just stink that you are so dang sick.
I hope you feel better soon.

I am totally in the same boat!!! I am seven weeks pregnant and I am sick as a dog. I can't eat anything solid at all. I eat mostly mashed potatoes and pudding. I found that if food stays in my mouth for too long then I can't swallow it. The only thing that I have found that works is to drink some clear soda or water right before trying to eat something solid so my mouth isn't as dry. Because eating nothing solid is making my stomach hurt even more.

My doc says that its okay as long as I can keep my prenatal vitamin down and some food regardless of what it is. Hopefully this won't last too much longer though. I feel your pain and good luck. And I think I'll try some applesause tonight :-)

Try eating things such as crackers or dry toast. Keep some saltines beside your bed and eat some first thing in the morning. I think Ginger Ale helps as well.

It is very normal to get sick. "Morning sickness" is a misleading term, as a woman can get sick at any time of the day, or even stay sick all day long. Talk to your doctor. With my first pregnancy, I was told that I could take Emetrol (an OTC nausea medication). When that didn't work, I was prescribed Phenergan (don't know about the spelling...sorry!)

It is absolutely normal! The hormones that sustain a pregnancy in the first trimester are wicked! These symptoms should subside by the second trimester. If they do not, and you aren't gaining the proper amount of weight, there are medications that can help. I was severely sick with both of my pregnancies- I know it feels like it will never end, but eventually you'll be on to different symptoms like heart burn, constipation, etc! And don't worry, you'll forget all about it when that little baby looks up at you for the first time..... Good luck and congratulations!

Sorry but yes!!!! I was sick day and night I lost like 15-20 lbs because I could not eat anything( sometimes I could not drink water)
just make sure if you can not keep drinks like powerade or Gatorade down or water you need to see the doc. so they can do an IV( I had like 3-4 of them). I wish I could tell you it will get better soon but, usually it stops around like 12-15 weeks, but mine lasted till I was like22 weeks and event then I had to watch what I ate because I still got sick sometimes.

Good Luck

Yup. I was sick for 6 mths before it went away but everyone is different it might last more or less. I couldn't keep anything down. The one thing I always had by my side was a pack of saltine crackers. You might want to try that or ask your doctor to prescribe something. Good Luck and hope you get to feeling better.

It isn't unheard of. I had morning sickness so horribly that I actually had to leave my job because I couldn't function. All I could eat was popsicles, because often the act of chewing anything made me nauseous.

Call your doctor and let them know how sick you have been. There are medications that you can take to help with it. I hope you don't have it as long as I did either...I had it for 5 months.

I was really sick the first 4 months of my pregnancy all the time. Feeling weak and tired are normal. It will probably pass after your first trimester.

For the first trimester, illness is common. I lived on peanut butter toast, chocolate milk, and cherry-flavored Jolly Rancher candies! :) Just be sure you and your baby are getting enough nourishment. Eat often, little bits at a time. Maybe pretzels or crackers, or whatever works for you. It's also a good idea to mention it to your doctor (who will likely ask about it anyway).
Good luck!

Maybe not all day. That's pretty bad. But Morning sickness can happen at any time not just morning. Have you tried plain crackers and soup? You need to take your prenatal vitamin pills if you can't eat properly.
If you are concerned do not hesitate to contact your Dr.
