I usually put mine up a couple of weeks before Christmas, and take it down about a week later.

Its a tradition in my family to put up the christmas tree and decorate it on the 25 of November, a month before christmas! :-)

No I live in Canada my thanksgiving is in October, so way to early, usually 2 weeks before Xmas

Nah we do it 2 weeks before Christmas but last year we didn't take it down until March.

that's a convention in my family individuals. We positioned the tree up Thanksgiving nighttime. So i don't think of that's only too early. your household is often at the same time that day besides. Why not positioned it up at the same time!!!
