I always had a cover up problem with my skin being dry sometimes oily sometimes and I got this stuff and it works perfectly. Put it on lightly doesn't feel like anythings on my skin and it stays on and even all day for me unlike any other make up i've used. It's called:
Dream Matte Mousse it's like 8 dollars, cheap, works, and it looks nice cause it don't look oily.
You don't glob it on either and it works nicely. Tap the concealer rub it on.

I've read some stuff that L'Oreals version of BE isn't really made of minerals. It has talc in it which can irritate the skin. Some say it's wonderful, some hate it. I didn't read that it was long lasting, though. I haven't tried it though.
Just a few questions. What is your skin type? If you're very oily like me, chances are that no foundation will last all day for you. You could probably use a primer to help it (I've got sensitive skin, so I can't use a primer). And second, how old are you? If you're 16-19, I don't think there's a need for a long wearing foundation...unless if it's for a special occasion.
If none of these apply to you, I know that the Revlon Colorstay line does have a decent staying power. The liquid version is a little on the heavy side as far as coverage goes. I tried it but I didn't like it since it made me feel fake. There's also the Colorstay Active version. I hear good things about it. They have good colors and it feels natural.

Bare Minerals is good stuff, but you should really look for something that is going to work for your specific skin type, something appropriate for your age and your life style....do you have oily or dry, do you need water resistant, sheer or heavy coverage-if you have a local mall go browse the cosmetics counter just to find out and then hit the local drug store and by the comparable cheaper brand, L'Oreal, Revlon etc.

i am very in love with my bare minerals make up, but i bought a loreal or neutrogena (cant recall) brush/mineral powder contraption to keep in my purse when i couldnt take my kit with me, and it is absolutely terrible and barely shows.
There is nothing like bare minerals, it is very long wearing, especailly if you use the face moisturizer as a base.

never used it but... your best bet is to go to a make up counter and have them try different foundations on your skin this way you can get a sense of what really works and they'll do it for free! then you can find a similar product or buy the brand they used ie: clinique, chanel, lancome... you never know what works until you try it and why waste money 'testing' what might not!
