You must be true with who you really are and sometimes that means letting down people that are close to you. It's not right but, it's the sad truth. Be happy with yourself and the rest will come to you.

Honestly, all parents really want is for their kids to be happy. Yeah, it's a shock initially to hear that your child is gay, especially given the climate that we live in and to be honest, they might be more relieved to learn that it was really just an experimental phase you were going through. I would think that after the initial shock wears off, they'll still see you for what you truly are, their child. Nothing a child does can change (or should change) a parent's unconditional love.

I am not gay and it never occurred to me to talk to my parents about the sex I'm having. I would wait until one of them gets in your sexual business like when are you gonna get married to a nice man, then you can tell them because they asked. Or if your girlfriend has thick skin when it comes up like you want to have a holiday meal with them and here is the woman I love mom and dad so she needs to be able to come too.

It's bets that you come out again because when you were younger your parents probably thought it was just a phase and it would go away, you can't help who you are and people should respect your decision and who you are. Your parents will love you regardless, a little disappointed maybe , but they'll be OK, remember always please yourself not people. Only God is perfect. Good luck!

if you are gay, your gay not much you can do to change it...going out with girls is really only hiding the real you!!! so come out to your parents again, yes its tuff, but like you said your mom didnt talk to you for days, its only days and she will come around eventually...i have been out for some time now and my dad is still a little shocked and mom is fine they still talk to me, it took a while for it to sink in but everyone is cool!!! go for it!!!

I thank God I never had to come out to my folks. On the contrary, my parents confronted me and informed me that they knew I was gay.
I didn't deny it. And even if I did, they would not believe. My parents were sharp in some ways. they told me that I was gay- not the other way around !!!!!
