No one knows! I lost my mucus plug, was 1 cm, and 90% effaced and my doctor told me I had 4 more days before going into labor. I went into labor the night I saw her and was in stong labor for about 18 hours and two of those were pushing. Hope that helps a little bit! Good luck and get an epidural. Epidurals are your friend!

The sad thing about giving birth is that you never know what's going to happen. You can only tell when it actually happens. Wish I could be of more help, but every pregnancy, labor and delivery is different!
