I'd say an IUD. They're fool proof and removable. You can keep the Mirena for 5 years and the others for even longer. If you decide to have children before the 5 years, you just go to the doc and have it removed. You should really read up on it as it's so worry free, and you have the option to chose and IUD without hormones if preferred.

I think you are asking what birth control method is safest if you still plan on having children.

If I am correct in this belief, then you have no need to worry. Birth control is not dangerous if wanting to conceive later in life. Just give it a month or so to clear itself out of your system before trying to conceive, just to be safe. Condoms are always safe to use, unless you have a latex allergy. As long as you don't have anything removed (on either of you!), then you should have no problem conceiving when you want.

Of course, no method of BC is 100% effective. Even with precautions, it is possible to conceive at any time. If you want to reduce your chances to almost nothing until you are ready, use the pill, condoms, and spermicide.

Good luck!

IUD- the doc can give you a local in your arm and just put a little thin rod, bout 2cm long in your arm. No it does not hurt you can forget it is there and it lasts for 3 years. i had one, no side affects like weight gain and all that rubbish.

I don't understand. If you want children 3 years apart, then use condoms or birth control in between so you don't have children too little or too late.
