There is no change UNLESS the Individual WANTS to change.

You can point out something from your experience -- but it is up to the listener if they want to accept this piece of information and apply it to the problem at hand.

Let GO ... once you have raised the children -- let them FLY from the nest -- and the sooner the better. IF you love them ... let them GO ... If they love you, they will cherish you for the rest of your life.

Let an Adult make their own decisions and Undertake FULLY any consequences for their actions -- because it is only through the Consequences that are FULLY ASSUMED by any Adult that one can learn by EXPERIENCE

NEVER, EVER ... give up your dreams, your goals or anything for ANY ONE ... nor should you EVER stay in any relationship that makes one miserable. There is NEVER an excuse to be abused or tormented -- whether it is Mental, Physical, Emotional, Sexual, Financial or any other form of abuse, Manipulation or Control. NO ONE deserves to be ABUSED, and NO ONE need be controlled or manipulated either. DO NOT STAY in ANY abusive Relationship -- get out for YOUR OWN SAFETY.

NEVER let another into your Financial Pocketbook -- EVER. And before Marriage -- for your OWN PROTECTION -- have a Pre-Nup Agreement Drawn Up -- delineating the property YOU HAVE from YOUR HARD WORK. That way, the Nasty Ex can't get what YOU EARNED through your Hard Work and you can assure yourself that in the event the marriage breaks down that you will be able to survive and thrive ... besides, do you want any family heirlooms going to the ex who abused you?

NEVER give up on your education -- and KEEP at it. All through your life, it is a Learning Experience. And it is especially important to keep your Mind ACTIVE AFTER your Retirement -- so ... GO BACK TO COLLEGE ONCE AGAIN -- this time for FUN!

Live BELOW Your Means -- and that way, you CAN purchase your piece of the American Dream -- a HOME of your own.

Treat Others as you would expect to be Treated. NEVER allow someone to steal away your happiness by using an expletive or racist or sexist remark in your presence.

ALWAYS work hard -- and keep working. NEVER give up.

Happiness comes from within -- and NO ONE can take it from me.

Finally -- NO ONE has any right to Take my Health or life from me -- EVER. NO ONE can make me Miserable.

I WILL SURVIVE -- and HAVE. From those Survivals and Hard Times, I KNOW I HAVE the Strength to meet and Surpass any obstacle others may put in my way.

1. Don't jump to conclusions or judge too quickly; wait and see how things work out.
2. There are very few real emergencies in life, and wisdom is being able to tell the real ones from the false ones.
3. You are on a journey, with phases that follow each other, but there is never going to be a time when you really feel that you have arrived.
4. Find out what you are really passionate about and discover the ways you can make that your life's work. Don't just drift into something because you are afraid to make a decision.

I have learned that age and aging are to be embraced. At 19 I thought that I knew all there was to know and that anyone above 25 were well past their sell by date. I am now 44 and look forward to reaching 50. I have learned that, regardless of ones chronological age, one can still be young at heart and in outlook but with a life experience to truly enjoy each new day.

If your standing on the edge and looking down at a 1000ft drop and you dont have a parachute... dont jump!!!!!!

Meaning: I've been in positions where I knew I was making a bad decision but couldnt stop myself. I've learned with age to take a step back, evaluate the suituation, then decide.

Swimming upstream is confusing. yet you will combat the stable combat. Be satisfied once you're politically incorrect and you don't get the applause. for great is your reward in heaven. For this international is passing away, and all its pleasures with it. existence is yet a vapor, a small occasion of time, and then comes eternity. that's well worth each and every of the time swimming upstream.

Let go and let God, be comfortable in your current circumstances. Don't beat yourself up for mistakes, learn from them and move on. Always do your best, and then no regrets. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. God bless*

its not what you do one day that matters, its what you do everyday.
some examples: its ok to get nice new shiny dentures but better to brush your teeth everyday. its good to take a chance on a risky investment but better to save 20 bucks a week. its good to save someone from drowning but better to be a good person. a crash diet will help you loose weight but its better to eat right in the first place. etc.

Don't waste time regret the things you did and the mistakes you made. Regret the things you didn't do and mistakes you were afraid to make.

Don't try to help people unless they ask for it.

Don't get involved in their personal dramas. even if what you
see them doing is downright WRONG. they don't need you to tell them.

In either case, they will come to hate you.
