North Carolina. You have the mountains with all the trees that change color in the fall. You have the beaches that are clean and beautiful. In the winter you can ski or snowboard. Summertime it's never above 85 degrees. We have all 4 seasons here with none to the extreme.

It may not have the peaks and valleys of other states but Maryland is a gorgeous state...especially around the Chesapeake Bay and the North East/Elk Neck Rivers.

How is it so many of you are forgetting the prettiest state of them all, Maine? Parts of coastal California are breathtaking too. I also like New Hampshire, Virginia and Massachusetts, but Maine is number 1 with me.

Minnesota! Northern Minnesota in early spring and summer looks like those calendar pics you see - deep blue sky, green pines and grass everywhere, lakes in the sunlight! One of the prettiest places I've ever been. And I wish I was back there right now!

I have to go with MD, my home state has cascading waterfalls, beautiful full and green trees...it has a gorgeous amber sky in the fall and a wonderful array of pastels in the sky for the spring. We are honored to have some of the most beautiful scenery in the country...but dont take my word for it, come see for yourself....
