My eyebrows are really thick as in up and down and the hair thickness is too. They're black and I plucked them to make them look nicer.Since they're so thick (up and down) I plucked above and it looked good.My eyebrows also kinda gave me the expression like I was mad (before i started plucking), so I plucked some hairs that were between the inside of my eye and my nose (to raise it up and look more level).Later when they were probably growing back, I noticed that there were like these black dots in place of where I plucked. They were kinda under the skin and if they were above, I couldnt really grab them. They are pretty thick and it looks bad, kinda like a shadow in shaving. I want to get rid of it, but idk what it is and i dont know how.I dont know if its because i have a little bit of acne buildup around the spots and the hair maybe cant push through the oily skin? Also...is overplucking plucking as in too often or too many hairs? I dont wanna wax so dont recommend it plz.

Those little black dots, is the hair growing back. You'll have to wait until it gets long enough to grab onto it again before you can pluck it again. I know you said not to recommend waxing, but that will grab every single hair, and last twice as long. Plus, it is a professional doing it. If you don't know what you are doing, I don't recommend the over the counter waxes. It is only about ten dollars to get it waxed.

If plucking them yourself, and going for an arch, line up the outer ring of your eye, (the black part) and only pluck the half of the eye brow after that black part of your eye. That will create an arch.

those are just hairs that haven't popped through the pore yet. LEAVE them alone! over plucking is making them too thin and shapeless, but plucking too often is like anything else, the more you do it the more you will have to. I don't know why you won't wax- it's affects are longer, it's less painful, and faster. Also, you get to lay there while someone else does it that's the best part! I get everything waxed and have gotten my man on it too- its so easy! But I guess you wanna go the hard way so just wait for them to grow in a little and pluck again.

Note: this wouldn't happen if you wax once a month

Overplucking means plucking too many hairs.

Sounds like the black spots are stubble. Get a hair bleaching cream for facial hair at the drugstore.

It it's acne, get a gentle exfoliant that's safe to use near your eyes. Baking soda mixed with Cetaphil cleanser is safe. Use twice a day.

Try a concealer stick & pressed powder to cover the black spots.

If you don't like waxing, there is a procedure called eyebrow threading that may be a good option for you.

Those are just hairs that havent made their way to the surface yet. Give it two or three days and you should be able to pluck them.

Most women dont realize that besides plucking, waxing and cream hair removal there is also the option of threading.

It doesnt hurt, it only takes like 10 mins and cost abt $7. Will last 2-3 weeks (just like waxing) and looks waaaay better

call local nail salons/waxing places in your area to find one that provides this service

good luck

ok, you sound like you need to detox a bit, you say u have a little acne build up, try a face steamer and toner to clear pores and then tighten them. the best way to see how to pluck them is too try and decide ona style you like (look in a magazine?) using some form of pencil to have an idea of wear to pluck (eyebrow pencil, lip liner etc) align the pencil with the side of your nose and have it straight, draw a little line on the sie of this closest to the middle of your face. this is where the eyebrow should begin (doing this on both then allows you to pluck middle hairs at ease) next look straight ahead. align the pencil from where it was on your nose before, to going straight across the pupil of your eye. where it meets the eyebrow this is where the arch should be, so up to here you pluck them thinner, then take it frokm that same position to the outer corner of your eye. where it crosses here is where it should end, start thick, thin towards arch and keep same thinness to end of brow. hope i helped! much lv!

whilst plucking eyebrows you're able to pluck the hair in the direction it grows even verify you pull your dermis tight in the previous you pluck, as weird and wonderful as that sounds it rather does help.
