It was MIMEOGRAPH. - the bane of my early existence!

Oh, how I hated that thing. It was messy and getting the original correct in the first place was a pain in the behind. I can't believe just in a few short decades, we've gone from THAT to digital imagery!

carbon copy. it is purple or black then you put a paper under it and over it. when you write once, the copy writes another set of the exact words underneath. is that what you are talking about. if so i hope this helps you.
