Not necessarily on the weird printed stuff.
Depends on what type of fax machine you have...older probably could.
But then its based on yours and the recieving machines resolution, and cleansliness as well.

Not much you can say about the Yahoo limit thing, because well, thats their limit. It would have helped if you told us how large the file you want to send is.

Is it a picture for a job type, where you need it color and clear?
Well, not much I can help with limited information.
So, Id say if you dont have a good fax, or a color fax, go to a kinkos or other fax services.
If its that important as youve explained, shelling out a buck or 2 should do the trick

Just how big IS the file you're trying to send?

Most internet email services have a size limit for attached files. Any file bigger than the limit will not be sent. Yahoo and Hotmail are no exception.

Also, most companies don't mind if you fax them important documents. They only want the information on them, not the documents themselves.

Used to have the same problem. Discovered a program called ypop that you download for free. Allows you to use microsoft outlook while keeping yahoo. In other words, yahoo.com is still your email provider, but you are using outlook for free.
Again, it is either ypop or ypops.
Incidently, found out about it here in answers. You can go to about.com and search for email solutions, yahoo.

Several ways to do it:

Send it by uploading the files to:
yousendit.com or rapidshare.com or megaupload.com
then sending your recipient the link to the file. He/she will then download it from those places.

Send it by yahoo messenger if both of you are online. Amazing how big a file you can send real time on messenger.

to send big files in an email, all you need to do is go to
http://yousendit.com/
and upload it, the site will email the recipient with a download link. or send it to yourself, and when the upload is complete just just put the link in your personal email to the other person. they are valid links for one week or 100 downloads. and can be as big as 1GB

how big is the file you are tryin' to send?

have you tried sending it from your yahoo email account to where ever it is you're sending it to?

make sure you can open the file that you're sending before you send it - otherwise it won't be any good to the other party you're sending it to (also the other party has to have the same program to open it with)
