In my opinion you should either by a playstation three now or wait until the price is lowered and then by a playstation three. I believe there will be a better variety of games for the playstation three because it is newer and new games will start pouring in. The smarter choice is the second one because you will save money, but if you are urging to buy one as soon as possible then buying a playstation three couldn't hurt

In my opinion, the Wii is going to offer the most "different" gaming experience compared to anything else in the last ten years. I'd go that route instead of the "Bigger Better Faster More of the Same" as the PS3 and XBox 360.

for the price you will be spending on the ps3, you can buy a xbox360 and a nintendo wii. and another note you do have to realize, the ps3's that are being released soon are 1st generation. in the past, ALL 1st gen consoles have had bugs. best bet is to wait a while so sony can work the kinks out of the ps3. by then, there should be a few in stores and if you go to certain stores, you may even find them used so you can save money.

I would have to say 360 right now, becuz with the ps3 just coming out, it will have bugs in it. It wont act that decent, so get the 360 now and then around march or april, trade the 360 in and get a ps3. It may be cheaper and it wont have any bugs at all my then

Couple of quetions-
Do you have xbox or playstation now-
Do you want to wait to get it (ps3 will take some time to get if not pre-ordered)
How much do you want to spend-
Im personally going with the PS3 because I want something to play ps2 games on (then get rid of my ps2) Plus I have a PSP that can interact with it.
The Xbox though is out right now- but I'm gonna wait for a ps3 (plus you get bluray etc.)

Buy a 360 and a wii... It'll still be like half the price, lol.
But seriously, ps3 is overpriced. My brother works for sony and i played. It's really not worth 600 bucks.
