I just saved up for enough money for a Blue Tongue(d) Skink and none of the pet stores in my area carry a Irian Jaya or don't carry them at all. Does anybody know where i can get one off the internet or some place in California?

You know, I don't know of a place to get reptiles off the internet but you're in California, which has some the largest exotic suppliers in the United States. I'd suggest calling around and possibly talking to some of the stores in your area, they might be able to order one for you and/or tell you when they're expecting to get some in stock. When it comes to getting ahold of a specific breed, you just have to be patient. Good luck!

check out the classifieds at http://www.kingsnake.com they've got a fair amount of blue tongues on there, from a lot of reputable breeders. Irian Jayans and Northerns are the most common. I've got a northern bts that I got from captivebred.com, they were excellent to work with.

compared to what? the smallest blue tongue is the pygmy, so if your comparing it to that then no, there not. However, the merauke is the biggest and so if your comparing them to that then yes - much smaller
