We have a family reunion for a week. And in the middle of the week we have our thanksgiving dinner and we watch the two football games together, me and all 17 of my cousins and there parents to

all my relatives converge at my auntie's house the day before thanksgiving. we all bring our aprons and we start the cooking process. every child and adult participates in the preparation to the dinner. making cakes, cookies, dressing the old fashion way, cutting up onions,celery, bell peppers,fix the tables, make sweet potato pies and put the turkey in. then we sit around watch some movies on DVD. then we get up the next day eat breakfast get dressed up and we decorate my aunts Christmas tree. we use to do it my grandparents house but they died so the next oldest is my aunt. then around twelve we all gather around hold hands and pray and remember all those who died in our family then we pig out and watch football in one part of the house, others are listening to music and we just eat and laugh.

sit down at the table after cooking a huge meal and then everybody starts argueing they grab thier dishes that they made and one by one they all leave cause they cant stand eachother and leave me with no food but the dish that i made so i then grab the dish i made and go to my best friends house and share it with them since my family is nowhere to be found.

We have a fairly traditional holiday. We HAVE to have green bean casserole, though. It is my husband's once a year favorite!

we all cook somthign and go to my moms and eat and talk and go home soemtimes at my moms house us kids see how many plates full full we can eat lol have fun
