Shawshank Redemption is a contemporary classic, if that is what you're asking. If that is the case, I adore The Usual Suspects- total class in its own.
The Deer Hunter
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Pulp Fiction
No Way Out
Naked Lunch
I have a few more but I won't bore you with my huge list. LOL
