It depends on how you use it, for example:

1 egg + 2 eggs = 3 eggs

In that statement, yes, but:

1 + 2 = 3

In this statement, no.

What I'm saying is that if you were to say 2 eggs, then yes, it is an adjective, but numbers aren't adjectives if they stand alone.

A number, in and of itself, is a NOUN. The number 1 is a noun, for example. It is a thing. Imagine you're on Sesame Street. You can point to the number 10. It is a noun.

Once you use it to describe how many of something, it becomes an adjective.

CONTEXT is king.
