Where are the best auto/diesel colleges? Is it worth the money? Where can you learn how to customize cars?

No you do not HAVE to be certified and you CAN"T be until you have some experience ,the best auto/diesel college is NASHVILLE AUTO DIESEL COLLEGE run by the Hooper family out west you should try WYO TECH a real top shelf outfit in their own right as for customizing you will be a non paid gopher at some southern cal shop until they think you can be trusted with hi dollar sheet metal -it requires much dues paying and grunt work as people are LINED UP to work for free at the BIG NAME SHOPS!good luck and try your local FORD DEALER too they have an outstanding program as TECHS are in short supply

No but most reputable shops require you to have certs. I don't know if it's worth it any more or not the work is very physical and very unforgiving. You work flag hours and you have to be good with alot of experience to make good money. Plus the amount of money you will have to spend on tools is scary.

depends on the place. sum will hire you on experiance, sum on knowlege
