Absolutely. But the problem is - if the guy doesn't want to hang around you, or she starts lying about it.
I especially wouldn't worry about it if you knew they were good friends before you started dating, then you're being unfair.

Yes, a woman in a relationship can have guy friends. However, I don't think it is normal to call a friend (doesn't matter whether male or female) 3-4 times a day, and to constantly e-mail them. It sounds like this woman you're talking about has some issues. I've had some very good friends throughout my life, and we would talk and see each other fairly often, but certainly not 3-4 times each day.

Yes it is just fine. My best guy friend calls me at least every other day right when I get off work to catch me up on his day and to ask about mine. We email daily. We go out to dinner, just the two of us, and movies and hang out. He is truly my best guy friend. I have absoultely no attraction to him and would be appalled if he tried anything, and I trust that he would never try anything. My best girlfriend just doesn't have a steady job and cannot do alot of things with me, so I end up going out with him alot. I am head over heels in love with my beau. We get together whenever we have time, we talk whenever we have time- we are both busy so we appreciate every second we get to spend together, but when one's busy and the other's not- or its an activity one or the other is not interested in doing, we go with our friends- group or with one friend, male or female- Because I know how I feel about him, and how I treasure this and would never cheat- I can trust that he feels the same way. Sorry this is so long winded, but the answer to your question is YES. A woman can have a boyfriend who she's dedicated to and love, and have a best guyfriend who is strictly a friend.

Unless he was gay, I've never known a man to want to talk on the phone 3 or 4 times a day who is just a friend. But it can happen, I guess. The thing is, you need to analyze if you are getting real vibes or just feeling jealous of the attention he's getting. If you are truly feeling something is wrong, you should speak to her, and if she's serious about you, she will tone it down.

In my experience, a woman can't have a guy best friend. I'm sorry, but I had one for 3 years until he informed me that he wanted to be more. Your girlfriend needs to come clean about her relationship with the "friend". Ask any man and they will tell you that it isn't possible to remain friends with a female due to the fact they will eventually want more. It's not normal for anyone to talk to their friend that much no matter what sex they are. Good luck.

yes it is ok for a woman with a boyfriend to have a guy as a friend . I know because i am married for 11 years and my best friend is a guy. My husband and i get along just fine with him, my husband thinks that it is good for me to have a guy as a friend so if i have any questions about our relationship or anything else i can ask my friend to get a male opioion. so just relax and don't worried everything will be fine
