Oh don't get me started. Two of my biggest pet peeves are names that are totally made up (just slapping syllables together) or girls names that are based on men's surnames. Such as
Jayden, Kayden, Areyn, Brayden, Zayna, Bailey, MacKenzie, Riley, Madison, etc.
Also awful is when parents take perfectly normal names and jack up the spelling so bad that it doesn't even look like the name it's supposed to be. And the child is going to have to correct the spelling of his/her name for the rest of it's life!
Such as Aemilee (Emily), Aeren (Erin), Christeena,
Every parent wants their kid to be unique and stand out in a crowd, but messing with their names isn't the way to make that happen. Think things through!
