There are several stories as to how she is being "killed off". The latest being: Joe, Martin and Sonia,go back to Pauline's house,thinking she is out,they discuss the fact that Martin and Sonia's relationship is back on,unaware that Pauline is listening upstairs. Pauline feels very upset that Martin and Joe have kept this hidden from her,and sits on Martins bed,lights a cigarette, and deliberately drops it onto the bed. She does nothing to stop it burning..............................

Why can't they do something interesting like........she gets raped to death by Pat Butcher sporting a massive strap on dildo? Or Ian Beal goes mental with a chip pan? Or, the depressing ***** hangs herself from the light chord?
I hate Eastenders and I hate the BBC even more.

pauline fowler, has quit eastenders, she is to be killed off during christmas. i can see this bringing sonia and martin closer together, or either that the cause will be a heart attack from finding out about them all over again.

I heard that Sonia and Martin get back together and Pauline can't handle it and goes a bit doolally and she gets ill and dies. I only found out she was going to die last weekend

She apparantly overhears Joe & Martin talking abour Martin getting back with Sonia, so she lights a cigarette leaves it downstairs then goes upstairs with betty. She dies in the fire.

She is not killed in house fire I brought soap news today and there is a picture of her recovering in hospital from the house fire and picture stated that she was recovering from house fire.
She does die but it will be a who did it and Sonia is in the frame!

Apparently there are two cremations - one in the house and one at the funeral. Bound to be at Christmas - You can guarantee misery at Christmas on Eastenders.
