Kinsey Reports had 10% of men and an average of 4% women being homosexual.
A 1990 study had 13.95% of men and 4.25% of women being homosexual.
A 1993 study had 9% of men and 5% being homosexual.
Judging by the similarities of these studies, it appears that gay men outnumber lesbians by 2 to 1.

Definitely more lesbians by a long, long shot. I don't know whether its actually because there are more women who like women than men who like men or if its that becoming a lesbian is reversible while becoming gay is not. if a woman turns lesbian, she can opt out of it and others will accept her decision to become straight again. however, if a guy claims to be gay it is completely unreversible and they have declared themselves as gay for the rest of their life whether they are or not. this likely is the cause for there being more lesbians than gay men.

According to Michael Bailey's research, there's about 3 gay men for every 2 lesbian women, so it's slightly higher.

Most official estimates tell us that gay men outnumber lesbians by a margin of 2 to 1. But it's impossible right now to get a truly reliable number on that.

In actuallity the noubers are probably equil, but women are more likely to be open about it because it's more accepted by society. It may not seem that way becuse full blown dikes are less common than girly queers, but it's true.

if you're going by being strictly lesbian or gay, i would think there would be more gay guys. But if being bisexual counts, i think there are more bisexual women. A girl can kiss a girl any time she wants, its fun and harmless, but if a guy kisses another guy, he has to be gay, no straight guy can kiss another guy just for laughs.

it's about the same but realy it probaly guy men beacaue=se it's some down low bortheres we don't know about and they don't want to come out so you never know
