I have a lot of images saved in My Pictures (My Documents) with the file extension of .gif. How do I convert these extensions to .jpeg so that I can use them in different websites (like Yahoo 360) that only allow .jpg/.jpeg, file extensions?

Right click on the image, choose to open it in "Paint".

In Paint, choose File, then Save as...

On the bottom of the little window that comes up you can choose what format (extension) to save it in. Choose .JPG.

Repeat for each picture.

There are programs that do them in batches (many at a time) but that's a different set of instructions.

try this.. go to "my computer" or whatever, and find the file. right click, and do "Rename". delete the .gif, and type .jpg

sometimes it works, sometimes not. good luck!
