I myself have been single now for over a year. I have met lots of men during this time. However i have always made it clear from the get go that i am not just going to settle down for anyone. Let them know that you are enjoying life and if things evolve into something then it will take it's course in time. Just let it be known that there is no commitment in your relationship. If they can deal with that then they will stick around and if not then you were better off in the long run.. good luck

Jin-Jur[sp?] and LJ both have it half right.
Don't tell the guys anything. When they realize you're not desperately seeking a long-term relationship with them, they'll go all-out trying to impress you.
If you are so presumptuous as to announce your intentions, or lack thereof, you're likely to be rebuffed or seen as a woman who "doth protest too much". I had a friend like that. By the next morning she'd have their entire future mapped out together. The guys ran like hell in the other direction.
The Chase is ALWAYS Better Than the Catch. [Hmm, I might name my kid Chase if I have a son.]

why?
only the guys you are getting close to deserve this information, if they ask, say it is not their business...if we get closer then maybe we will talk in more depth about each other ..but now..now way...
if you do that, you might as well make a T-shirt saying I am not fresh I have been had already ..just so you all know..or make a sign for you car....NO WAY..
only the one or two guys that you actually get real close to..
the others ..hey what to heck....the other are only looking for one thing...
do not tell them...at this time..
you a great person...smile

good luck

You don't have to say it in a cocky way. Just basically let them know that you enjoy being single and not looking to be in a relationship.

just be honest...most men can respect that fact that u arent all over their case...although sometimes that makes them want u more...but at least u wont feel bad about leading them on & they cant hold u responsible for meeting someone else...
