YES. It's the whole talking thing that causes the problems in the first place.

I find that when I am with a non-English speaking person, we just smile and nod.

Communication has very little to do with language.

That was the idyllic goal of Espiranto. But the real language the world speaks is money, and that doesn't help too much when some want it all.

Language isn't the problem, it's religion and human nature. People hate what they don't know. As long as we have free will we will have hate. But we also have kindness and compassion.

i don't think lthe same lauguage would solve anything. there will always be some difference someone doesn't like or some squabble that escalates, it's our nature...
it would be interesting though..would we all speak a known language or make up a new one?
