Ok....I just finished my second dosage of Provera and Clomid. My menstral just finished today (November 16th) when should I check my self with my ovulation kit. Also, how far after should I take a pregnancy test......Thanks in advance for your help.

My period started on November 10th, and finished November 16th. Prior to that it was from 9/30/06-10/9/06. Please keep in mind that my menstrals are super irregular and has only been semi-regular since I have been on Provera.

I am a bit confused: Do I start counting from the FIRST day my period started or do I start counting from the first day my period ENDED?

You said your period just finished today? When was the first day? You start counting the start of your cycle on the first day of your period. Let's assume that you have a 28 day cycle, this would mean that you will ovulate around day 14. But if you have a longer cycle, then of course your ovulation would be later than day 14. But day 12 may be a good day to start ovulation kit.
Also, if you are successful in conceiving, wait 2 weeks before taking a pregnancy test. This will be more than enough time for a fertilized egg to implant and turn a test positive.

Most woman are most fertile 14 days after the first day of their period. So I would start checking around day 12 after the first day of your last period. You can take a preg test as soon as the first day of your missed cycle. They do have some test like Early Response that say you can test earlier. You have to wait some time after the implantation for the preg hormone to get into your system. Preg tests look for the hormone. Good Luck.

check to see if you're ovulating about 10-14days after the first day of your last period. implantation takes about 6-10 days after you've had sex, then at that point you can take an hpt test.
you should go to mymonthlycycle.com to kind of get an avg of your cycle. and it will help you track your period and tell you when you're ovulating. hope that helps. good luck!

On day 21 I was doing the same thing and i always went for my blood work on the 21st day after my period to see if i was ovulating
