Due to Cancer i have an ultrasound every 6 months looking for tumours.
They usually only take a few weeks, it depends on your hospitals waiting lists, etc.
For something like Cancer there are government targets and so i get mine really quick, something that isn't covered takes longer which isn't fair especially when it can be still life threatening.
I don't know a great deal about your problem so not sure how it sits with priorities.
Why not ring the department in the hospital? I've always found them extremely helpful.
My last scan (a week ago) took an hour, they are usually half that but i have lots of lumps after operations and i wanted something checking out.
If your made to wait a huge amount of time, speak to your GP who can maybe put a little pressure on, make yourself available at short notice if someone drops out (tell the hospital depertment this) or go private.

It relies upon on the position you stay i'm afraid. some aspects provide you with universal reassurance scans in case you've had a previous miscarriage. Many antenatal instruments have an early being pregnant evaluation medical institution the position you may bypass (self-refer) for a test once you've any irritating (cramping/bleeding) or have had previous miscarriages. At this level in spite of the actuality that you'll see little or no - they probable gained't test you for some weeks - and would not even see a heartbeat, which will scare you, even though it will be too early. Wait some weeks.

Sorry to read of your predicament. I too had PCO many years ago. The scan, well it does rather depend on where you live as to waiting lists. You can ask your doctor to refer you to another hospital to speed up the process as not all hospitals have long lists. The scan itself is not unpleasant, just a kind of microphone that is rubbed over your belly after having had cold jelly applied. The scanner usually lets you see what they can see on the screen. It is quite interesting. Oh yes, they also make you drink lots of water before!

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.
In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/F7IjB
