i want to get by b/f something nice for christmas so dont really know what brand would be good to get and well something thats not too expensive

Seiko is a brand I've worn for years and I really like them. I have the watch I'm wearing since '98. I replace the band a few times a year but the watch itself is working great.
Sometimes Seikos are on sale for $100 or so but usually expect to pay around $150 - $200.

People are too into labels. Get him a Timex. It's a good cheap watch that will outlast most "expensive" watches and is far more fun because they have varieties. Also there is a brand called "Swatch". Try not to be a Label Ho, there are too many of them in this country.

There are plenty of very expensive watches out there like Rolex, but I think, the best dependable moderately priced watches are Timez. The one that says "takes a licking and keeps on ticking!". They really do and they last and last. You don't have to spend a fortune on them either. They have a guaranty so save the papers with the watch. I have had great luck with them. Mine even has a light inside the crystal so you can push the stem and see the time at night.

Swiss Army is a very accurate Swiss watch but not too stylish. Citizen makes a very good Eco-Drive watch made in Japan. Seiko is also a very good Japanese watch.

Try Oakley men's watches .They are amazing.But the price start $450 which is a bit expensive

Gevril is really nice, but somewhat expensive. Try looking on Ebay.
