Some women experience small amounts of thin fluid leaking from their nipples. This is called “colostrum” and it’s completely normal, although not all women have this occur during pregnancy. Some women don’t experience any leaking, while others may be able to squeeze a few drops out. Others may even leak enough colostrum to soak their bra. This typically won’t be a pregnancy symptom until the second (or even the third) trimester, if at all. If you don’t produce any colostrum during your pregnancy, that doesn’t mean you’ll have trouble producing enough milk for your nursing baby after he or she is born.

My first pregnancy I had fluids as you call it even earlier at 8 weeks. Are you around children much?
My doctor said it was most likely because at the time I had an extremely close bond to my stepdaughter and that is what triggered it.
Do not, under any circumstances try to "Milk Them" as my doctor would say. At least not if you plan to breast feed. If you do extract it, it will throw off your body's timing, and you could be completely dried up by the time your baby is born and not produce milk at all for the baby.
Many women find themselves in this condition even without being pregnant when they are in constant close proximity to babies or young children.
There are a few studies that show that it has nothing to do with pregnancy at all, but the baby's nearness after birth which is why your milk does not come in until a few days after they are born.
At any rate, don't worry about it. It is completely normal.
Good Luck!

Babe,
This isn't a stupid question. And it is very normal. I had clear fluids leaking from my breast from 19 weeks and on. Also, once I got past my 36 week mark, I started working with my breast so that I could breast feed!!
God Bless
and Congrats

It's cool. I didn't with the first two pregnancies but with my third pregnancy I did. Everything is in working order and just getting prepared early. You can use nursing pads if it gets to be too much.

They are filling the ducts are expanding, you may have some colustrum inside (pre milk, what a newborn eats) but milk, no your milk will not be triggered to come in until labor begins, by th ehormone3s & then it will still take 3 to 7 days to come in, until then your baby will get all the benifts of colustrum

yes. Don't try to express it though. If for some reason you leak early just pick up some thin breast pads. Medela makes really nice ones that don't show through your clothes.

Yes. This is very normal. Its colostrum. For some women it doesn't appear until the very end. Each person is different though.

Totally normal. It's called colostrum and it will be baby's first food, if you choose to breastfeed.
