I am going to be staying mostly in Rye (Mornington Peninsula) for a month and would like to know whether I'll be able to find a cirrus cash machine close (ish) by as I don;t have as much spending money as I'd like and would like to know I have the option of more.

Rye is a big enough town and it'll have plenty of banks. It's a tourist town so you'll be well catered for.
Surfing is great there on the 'back' beach.

I have never had a problem getting money from a cash machine no matter where I was... Canada, England, Spain...
I am sure there is a location with an ATM that will service your card, although it MAY COST an absolute fortune... One bank charged me nearly 10$ (us) for the transaction, but it was better than not having cash and I would have paid a bank anyway...

I used my card to withdraw money in Canada. If it has the Cirrus sign you will be ok, although you will incur a small charge for using the ATM.

You will be able to use your Cirrus card at the major Australian banks that accept Mastercard.

Yeah you should be able to find most places that accept Visa/MasterCard will also accept Cirrus. I see that sign everywhere here in (rainy gray) Montreal.

Do you recommend Waitakere (city) or Waitakere (Township)? If it relatively is the latter, no. yet there would desire to be some in Swanson, or in Henderson. unsure approximately your card, yet you will desire to attempt a BNZ atm.

As long as you've got your pin no. there shouldn't be any problems with ATM's.Best to check that they do take your card though.
