My PC has 12MB SDRAM but I don't know if I should buy SDRAM PC100 or PC133.

Step.1 Throw out old PC.
Step.2 Buy new PC
Step.3 Welcome to 2006.

There is no amount of memory that you can add to an old system with only 12Mb of mem that will make it perform any better. Your PC is a tortouse and needs to be severely replaced; unless of course, you just use it as a space heater, then 12Mb should be fine....

You can always open it up and physically check what type of memory cards you have installed now. Or if you haven't upgraded or made any changes you can search the manufacturer's website for you model #'s configuration and that should tell you what kind of memory you have installed.

verify the mobo instruction manual. The specs will inform you the style of memory that the mobo can cope with and the max capacities. I do video modifying and that i say 2 GB minimum. that's what I even have on my very own container.

go to crucial they can tell you exactly what you need also how many slots and much more free I just did it got new ram from them in 3 day instaled in 5 min. good to go
